Electrical and Mechanical Section (EMS) provides campus-wide management and maintenance of electrical and mechanical facilities and systems, under the supervision of Campus Management and Development Office (CMDO).
Our scope of work includes operation, repair and maintenance services of building management system, electrical system, elevators and escalators, fire system, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) system, lighting system, natural gas facilities, water supply facilities, etc.
Mission
- To guarantee all campus electrical and mechanical facilities are operating effectively and ensure a safe campus environment;
- To improve and succeed in cost-effective allocation of resources for facility management;
- To provide efficient service that meets or even exceeds our users’ expectations;
- To review and improve the energy efficiency of campus electrical and mechanical facilities and systems.
